Meet Your Pilot

Born and raised in Hawaii, Rick De Leon has been passionate about flying since 1978, when he first took to the skies as a Civil Air Patrol Cadet. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Hawaii, Rick served in the Air Force for 22 years, honing his skills and dedication to aviation.

Following his retirement, Rick returned to his home state to pursue his lifelong dream: sharing the magic of soaring flight with others. With a Commercial Glider License, a Private Pilot License, and extensive experience as a paraglider pilot, Rick combines his deep expertise with a genuine love for Hawaii’s skies, ensuring every flight is safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable.

Dillingham Airfield

Located on Oahu’s stunning North Shore, Dillingham Airfield is a premier spot for glider tours and recreational flying. Once an Army airbase, it now offers year-round opportunities to experience Hawaii’s beauty from above, with ideal conditions for soaring flights.

Surrounded by lush mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Dillingham is the perfect starting point for unforgettable aerial adventures.
